Day 1Hanoi – Ta Su Choong (L, D)
Travel to Hoang Su Phi, embark on an easy-access trek to the Hmong ethnic village
Coach trip to the Hoang Su Phi region, the realm of terraced rice fields and mysterious festivals, pause at Tuyen Quang to admire lush tea hills. Lunch at a restaurant. Upon reaching the Tan Quang crossroads, ascend through an area inhabited by Dzao, Tay, and Nung. The journey unveils the picturesque rice valley of Ta Su Choong commune.
Trek to Ta Su Choong village through Hmong Fleuris villages and terraced rice fields. Pause to converse with locals and delve into their culture and lifestyle. Homestay overnight at Ta Su Choong.
Day 2Tả Sử Choong - Trek To Chung Phung (1500m) (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the homestay. Trek from Ta Su Choong to the remote region of Chung Phung, following the slopes of Mount Tay Con Linh.
Cross terraced rice valleys and pass through villages of the Nung, Co Lao, and Hmong ethnic groups. Admire the intricacies of their traditional attire. Homestay overnight - dormitory-style in basic conditions.
Day 3Chung Phung - Ascend To Tay Con Linh Summit 2419m – 2000 Meters (B, L, D)
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your homestay before embarking on the thrilling adventure ahead. Ascend to the summit of Tay Con Linh through pristine forest.
Follow a narrow path etched through the jungle, sometimes steep. During your trek, encounter abundant tropical flora including rattan, orchids, ancient tea trees, coniferous and chestnut trees, cardamom, and numerous medicinal plants.
Enjoy a picnic lunch. Afternoon: Descend to the camping site at 2000 meters above sea level. Camp under tents with sleeping bags near a refuge house used during cardamom harvests.
Day 42000m Point To Xa Phin (B, L, D)
Descend through the jungle to the Dzao village at the base of Tay Con Linh.
Traverse cardamom fields, ancient tea gardens, and lush bamboo forests. Picnic lunch. Afternoon: Continue your journey through terraced rice valleys and villages of Mau Phin and Xa Phin Dzao.
Dinner and homestay overnight.
Day 5Xa Phin – Hanoi (B, L)
Trek from Xa Phin to Na Mau through the Dzao village.
Return to Hanoi.
