Itinerary

Tra Que Vegetable Village, cooking class, herbal foot bath

Embark on a biking excursion through the countryside of Hoi An, pedaling along a shaded path lined with water coconut trees to reach the vegetable village of Tra Que. The name of the village comes from the fragrance of the vegetables and aromatic herbs, especially mint and basil, grown there. Their leaves are smaller than usual but possess a unique aroma.

All the herbs and vegetables are organic, fertilized with algae harvested from the rivers and ponds surrounding the village. Explore the fields and stop at a local family's home to have tea with the villagers, who will share the history of their village and explain local agricultural techniques.

Next, visit the farm to participate in a few activities before enjoying a herbal foot bath...a pure moment of well-being. Learn the technique of making rice paper cakes.

Then, you'll take part in a cooking class, making Tam Huu rolls, a local specialty made with pork, fresh herbs, and shrimp.

Menu:

  1. Tam Huu rolls
  2. Seafood salad with grilled rice cake
  3. Crepe
  4. Lemongrass-salted fish
  5. Vegetables
  6. Rice
  7. Dessert

Finally, return to Hoi An.
