Itinerary
Departure upstream from the Huong River, visit to the tomb of Emperor Gia Long – the founder of the Nguyen Dynasty. He was a legendary warrior who reunified the country in 1802 and named it Vietnam. Enjoy the wild nature. Visit a floating bridge.
Next, visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, an architectural complex that harmoniously showcases nature and imperial religious structures. It consists of 40 structures in a 26-hectare space dominated by mountains and rivers. The tomb's design was planned during the reign of Minh Mang (1820-1840), and it was only built later by his successor, King Thieu Tri, with the assistance of ten thousand workers and artisans.
Cruise along the Perfume River, disembark at Thuy Bieu. Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure for Chuon Lagoon - a part of the famous Tam Giang Lagoon. The views of the ancient village captivate you with the magnificent traditional architecture of old pavilions, while the winding streams of the river lead you to the rice fields that extend as far as Chuon Lagoon.
Upon arrival, embark on a local sampan and begin your extraordinary excursion. You will not only enjoy the beauty of the landscape but also discover the authentic daily life on the water of the local inhabitants.
During this excursion, you will visit 1 or 2 bamboo huts on stilts in the lagoon while tasting some delicious grilled fresh seafood and local beer.
Return to the mainland where your car will be waiting to take you back to the hotel around 6:00 PM.
