Departure towards Go Cong, a district rich in historical and cultural significance located 50 km from Saigon. The journey from Saigon to Go Cong takes approximately 1.5 hours, and you'll enjoy picturesque countryside landscapes with rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see.
Upon arrival, visit the Royal Tomb of Mr. Pham Dang Hung, the father of Queen Tu Du and the maternal grandfather of Emperor Tu Duc. Exploring this nationally recognized historical site will provide a better understanding of Vietnam's history. Next, you will visit the old house of the landowner Mr. Hai, built in 1890. Acknowledged as the most beautiful ancient residence in the South, its architecture is a unique fusion of colonial and local styles. It still preserves 70 antique objects to this day. Then, take a car for 8 km to reach Hung Duc Pagoda, which is not only a religious center but also a place where monks provide free traditional medicine care (herbs, acupuncture, massage, etc.). You will have the opportunity to meet the master of the pagoda and the monks and participate in their daily activity of drying medicinal plants.
Afterward, take a bike ride through the Go Cong countryside to the Tan Dien fishing village. You will enjoy a seafood lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will head to Ben Tre. Upon arrival, you will take a bike ride around the village under the shade of coconut and other trees.

Take a bike ride throught the villages and a long country road, you will explore a factory to observe the process of coconut exploitation. Visit the Thom Market, a well-known place for the coconut trade and its craft workshops for coconut fiber and activated charcoal. Continue to Tra Vinh, Bike ride to explore eco-tourism on Chim Island. Participate in making traditional cakes. Visit Hang Pagoda

Take a bike ride through Khmer villages and along country roads where you will have the opportunity to meet locals and discover their daily lives. Visit ancient Theravada Buddhist pagodas and the old Huynh Ky house built in the early 20th century, in a typically colonial style. This house is a true architectural masterpiece with its relief statues and intricately carved wooden sculptures.

Visit a coconut nectar company and discover the traditional work of local residents who collect honey from coconut flowers.

Lunch with a local family.

Continue the journey to Can Tho.

After breakfast, embark on a boat to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest in the entire Mekong Delta. The trading method here is unique, with each boat hanging the fruits it sells on a branch (beo). Take a walk to visit a rice noodle (Hu Tieu) making facility, a local specialty.

Transfer by vehicle to Phong Dien. Cross a river on a small local ferry to reach Nhon Thanh Island, where you'll cycle through small hamlets and along arroyos to a local home. Along the way, make stops to visit locals, including a family that feeds bats and an orchard.

Lunch at a family-owned restaurant. If interested, you can learn to prepare "Banh Hoi," a typical dish made with rice vermicelli accompanied by pork skewers.

Continue your bike ride to Vam Xang. Return to Saigon.
