8:00 AM: Depart from Ho Chi Minh City for Ben Tre. Upon arrival, embark on a cruise on the Ham Luong River, crossing Long Thanh Island with a visit to a coconut husk charcoal workshop.

Continue the cruise to Mo Cay, stopping to discover a coconut processing workshop.

Take a xe loi (motorized cart) for a ride through the village. Afterward, enjoy a sampan ride along a canal to Mr. Ba Van's house, where you'll taste fresh fruits, followed by a short walk around the village.

Conclude the morning with a delicious lunch at a local home, featuring typical regional specialties.

Next, visit Thom Market, a well-known hub for coconut trade and artisanal workshops producing coconut fiber and activated charcoal. Enjoy a short stroll under the shade of coconut trees to explore the surroundings.

Continue your journey to Vung Liem. Check into your bungalow and enjoy the beautiful view of the river, lined with picturesque rows of water palms.

Take a bicycle ride through peaceful villages where houses are hidden beneath the shade of coconut and fruit trees. Meet local farmers in the heart of the rice fields and discover the sedge (carex) fields used for weaving mats. Stop at a dragon fruit or orange orchard to sample fresh fruit. Enjoy the magnificent sunset before returning to the lodge.

6:30 PM: Traditional cooking class with Vietnamese pancakes.

7:30 PM: Delicious dinner.

8:30 PM: Return to the lodge with palm leaf torches. Dinner and overnight at Coco Riverside Lodge.

Sampan excursion on the Vung Liem River, discovering local life.

Breakfast at the Lodge. Motorboat cruise on the Vung Liem River to explore local life. On your sampan, you will encounter boats loaded with coconuts supplying small craft workshops along the river. A stop will allow you to visit a Cao Dai temple and a coconut processing facility where you can observe the coconut exploitation process. Once the coconut is husked, the coconut fibers are removed from the shell to make rope, which is then used to weave mats. These tasks are mostly done by hand at low cost. You can observe the entire manufacturing process. Return to the Lodge, where you will participate in harvesting water coconut leaves and learn how to weave them. These water coconut leaves are used by local residents to build the walls and roofs of houses. The locals will show you not only how they use these leaves but also how to make a torch from water palm leaves.

Visit a Khmer Theravada Buddhist pagoda

On the way to Can Tho with stop on road to visit the Red Kingdom region, known for its many ceramic kilns. Cruise to see hundreds of ceramic kilns along the river.Continue to Can Tho. Overnight at Can Tho Ecolodge.

Breakfast, then board a boat to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest in the entire Mekong Delta. The way of conducting business here is unique. Each boat hangs the fruits it sells on a branch (beo). Take a stroll to visit a rice noodle factory (Hu Tieu), a local specialty.

Next, visit the Binh Thuy ancient house and an orchard. Head back to Saigon. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City by the end of the day.
