Depart from Hanoi at 7 AM for Bac Ha, a highland region in northern Vietnam, via the Hanoi-Lao Cai highway. Once you reach Pac Ngam, the mountain road stretches for 60 km, offering striking views of hill masses divided by river valleys. Arrival in Bac Ha around noon.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Situated at 1000 meters above sea level, Bac Ha is home to several ethnic groups, including Hmong, Phu La, and Tay. A short trek will take you to the villages of Ngai Phong Tro and Din Thang. The journey starts on a lovely path that traverses a valley with pine-covered hills, rice fields, and gardens. Visit the weekly Sunday market or the Saturday buffalo market in Bac Ha. The weekly market deeply showcases the typical cultural traits of minorities living in remote and distant regions. Additionally, you'll have an excellent opportunity to witness young boys and girls dressed in vibrant traditional costumes, heading to the market in hopes of finding their soulmates. It's also a chance for them to chat and trade goods.

At 9:30 AM, transfert to Thai Giang Pho, trek to the San Chu Van valley. The route is quite long but absolutely worth it as it takes you through breathtaking landscapes, with almost no other tourists encountered along the way. This is truly an off-the-beaten-path journey, closest to nature.

You'll discover the most beautiful rice valley with a stunning panoramic view of the terraced fields lining the valley. Lunch will be a picnic. Arrive in the village by late afternoon. In this area, mobile network coverage may be limited. Dinner and overnight in homestay at San Chu Van village.

Enjoy breakfast at your homestay. Trek towards the fabulous Ta Cu Ti valley. Upon arriving at the Ban Gia and Ta Cu Ti valleys, you'll be captivated by the incredible landscapes, dominated by two rows of rolling hills along the Nam Na stream.

Witness beautiful terraced rice fields and balcony-like landscapes. Lunch will be a picnic. Dinner and overnight stay in a homstay. The house where you'll spend the night offers a beautiful view of the rice valley, allowing you to fall asleep while observing the magnificent surrounding nature.
