Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and take you to the city center of Hanoi.

Optional: Participation in a traditional Vietnamese herbal massage session for one hour.

In the afternoon: Stroll along the tree-lined street of Phan Dinh Phung, Visit the Long Bien Bridge with a beautiful view of Banana Island. Transfer to visit the ancient citadel of Co Loa.

The evening is dedicated to a traditional water puppet show, a typical folk art of northern Vietnam combining traditional music and scenes of rural life

The Temple of Literature, the first national university built in 1070 where royal descendants and sons of mandarins pursued their studies to become scholars and high-ranking officials. This temple is also a site to honor Confucius and the Scholars of the Kingdom. With its original architecture arranged between courtyards, ponds, and gardens, it is a true haven of peace and greenery in the heart of the capital.

Ba Dinh District: Walk through Ba Dinh Square, the botanical garden, the former Governor's Palace of Indochina (now the Presidential Palace), Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, and finally the One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest monuments in the city built in 1049.

The Pagoda of the Nation's Defense (Tran Quoc), built in 1615 on the shore of the large West Lake.

The Old Quarter of Hanoi, known as the commercial center of the Capital bordered by the elegant Hoan Kiem Lake. Despite the passage of time, the Old Quarter is known as an open-air museum of the capital: unique tube houses, narrow alleys, temples, and open-air markets. Lunch: You will taste grilled pork with rice noodle and egg coffee.

Bac Ha, stroll through the ethnic villages of the Flower Hmong and Tay.

Departure at 8:00 am for Bac Ha, the highland region of Northern Vietnam, using the Hanoi - Pho Lu highway. Lunch at a local restaurant. Bac Ha, located at 1,000 meters above sea level, is populated by several ethnic groups such as the Hmongs, Phu La, and Tays.

A short and easy hike is offered to the villages of Ngai Phong Tro and Din Thang. Discover the agricultural environment, traditional housing, lush terraced rice fields, and valleys dotted with trees. You will visit isolated hamlets and meet the following two ethnic groups: the Flower Hmong and the Phu La...

The Hmongs were part of the San Miao of Southern China. Following the Hmongs' struggles against the feudal Chinese authorities, a portion of the Hmongs immigrated to Vietnam towards the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The Phu La also immigrated to Vietnam around the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Dinner and overnight stay with a local family.

If you stop on a Saturday evening in Bac Ha: Free participation in the public folklore dance and song show organized every Saturday night at the Bac Ha market.

After breakfast, you will depart to explore one of Bac Ha's weekly markets, which takes place exclusively on Sundays. Being the habitat area of several different ethnic groups such as the Dzaos, Tays, Phu Las, Nungs, and Flower Hmongs, Bac Ha's weekly market deeply presents the typical cultural traits of the Ethnic Minorities living in these remote regions. Enjoy its captivating atmosphere with plenty of merchandise, vegetables, poultry, horses, buffaloes, and more on display. You may encounter ethnic residents dressed in their vibrant traditional costumes, gathering to exchange goods, eat, and perhaps even find a soulmate.

In the afternoon: Departure for the beautiful rice valley of Ban Phung via the town of Xin Man. Upon arrival, explore Ban Phung, an exceptional place at an altitude of 1000 meters inhabited by the La Chi Ethnic group - a small minority group of over 10,000 people. Enjoy a one-hour stroll through the village of Ban Phung, where you'll appreciate the fabulous landscapes of terraced rice fields, dotted with around fifty stilt houses.

After breakfast, we'll head to Ban Luoc, known as the paradise of terraced rice fields, a remarkable and highly appreciated region by photographers. We'll take a scenic walk through the beautiful Ban Luoc rice valley on a trail winding along the hillside to reach the village of Suoi Thau. Lunch will be with a Black Dzao family, offering you a splendid view of the rice fields. You'll get to discover the customs and traditions of the Black Dzao people.

Continuing our journey, we'll head towards the Red Dzao village of Nam Hong. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy an exceptional moment of relaxation by indulging in a bath with medicinal plants, a practice derived from the long-standing experience of the Red Dzao tribes to relieve fatigue.

Optional: Participate in the fire dance ceremony – a mystical festival of the Red Dzao ethnic group.

Cruise to explore Ba Be Lake and the surrounding mountains covered in lush tropical vegetation.

Ba Be Lake is a natural lake ranked among the 20 most beautiful in the world. It boasts rare beauty with imposing limestone peaks. The lake's three bays, Pelam, Pelu, and Peleng, offer visitors a variety of landscapes, with numerous waterfalls, rivers and lakes, valleys, and caves. Throughout the cruise, you'll be able to admire magnificent scenery.

Head to Cao Bang, a border town in Vietnam's far northeast, recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark.

You'll arrive in Quang Uyen in the late afternoon. Situated at 500 meters altitude, this region, famous for its multitude of limestone peaks covered in vegetation, is predominantly inhabited by the Nung An ethnic group.

Explore the Nung An village of Phia Thap, specializing in the production of incense sticks and hidden behind limestone peaks. The Nung An people live in traditional stilt houses with yin-yang tile roofs and have chosen to maintain an ancestral way of life, unaffected by modernity. You'll feel like you're entering another isolated, peaceful world.

Dinner and overnight stay with a Nung An family in the village of Phia Thap.

Drive to the "Eye of God" mountain via Ma Phuc Pass. Upon arrival, embark on a hike to enjoy the magnificent karst landscapes of the valley at the foot of the "Eye of God" mountain.

Next, your vehicle will head towards the Gioc Rung Massif, located on the Chinese border in the far north of Vietnam. You'll arrive at the heart of the massif in the early afternoon and begin a short walk to meet the inhabitants of a small village belonging to the Tay ethnic group.

This village, traversed by the Quay Son River, is situated in the midst of a superb rice valley.

Optional: A short walk to the top of a hill will provide you with a panoramic view of the valley and the opportunity to take beautiful photos of the karst formations. In the tranquility of this lush green location, take a moment to admire the sunset over the mountain.

Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao Cave, Water Wheels

Coach trip to Ban Gioc waterfall, located on the Sino-Vietnamese border, you will be captivated by the beauty of its falls, reputed to be the most beautiful in Vietnam and the fourth longest in the world after Iguazu, Victoria, and Niagara. The best time to visit these falls is during the rainy season (from July to October), but they are incredible year-round. Swimming is possible during certain times of the year.Optionally, take a short bamboo raft ride on the Quay Son River to get closer to Ban Gioc Waterfall. Take a walk to visit the Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda, from where you will have a panoramic view of the Ban Gioc Waterfalls.

Then, visit Nguom Ngao Cave with its magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations, considered one of the most beautiful in Vietnam after those in Phong Nha and Ke Bang.

Then head to Co La Waterfall. Upon arrival, you'll start a hike along the Quay Son River, you'll stop to visit villages and discover the terraced fields, and Tay ethnic villages. Afterward, we'll hit the road for Ha Lang. Overnight in Ha Lang.

Breakfast. Head to Vinh Quy to visit the magnificent Burnt Herb Hill. These mountains are covered with golden grass from November to April and green grass for the rest of the year.

Then, head towards Dong Khe, taking the famous RC4 road, known as "the blood road," which runs along the Chinese border and holds significance in the country's history. Along the way, you'll pass through the towns of Dong Khe and That Khe, sites of several battles in October 1950 against the French army, with stops at Luang Phai Pass, Bascou Bridge, and That Khe. Visit the remains of the French fort.

Arrive in Halong around noon, then embark and have lunch on board a splendid junk. The cruise navigates through the emerald sea and the karst islets of the magnificent Halong Bay, heading towards the less crowded area of Bai Tu Long Bay. You will explore the caves.

Then, free time to relax while admiring the scenery or to kayak in Halong Bay. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

You will arrive in Quang Tri at 7:25 am. Our guide will welcome you and transfer you to Vinh Moc with a stop en route to visit the Hien Luong Bridge.

Explore the Vinh Moc Tunnels, initially constructed in the late 1940s to resist the French, and expanded during 1966 and 1967 to resist the Americans. The Vinh Moc Tunnels served as a refuge for the 400 inhabitants of Vinh Linh during intense bombings, particularly during the American "Rolling Thunder" operation.

Stop at Cua Tung for a beautiful view of the beach.

Visit Phuoc Tich Village: Take a walk to explore the village and visit a ceramics workshop before having lunch with a local family.

In the afternoon, discover the well-preserved site of Tam Giang Lagoon, one of the most important brackish water lagoons in Southeast Asia.

Stop at a lakeside village by Dam Chuon – the widest part of Tam Giang Lagoon. Take a short walk to meet the locals before boarding a small motorboat for a tour of part of the lagoon. Observe the aquatic life of local fishermen who often set their nets and traps in the fish-rich waters at this time. Learn local fishing techniques from a fisherman and enjoy the sunset over the lagoon waters.

8:00 am: Begin your exploration of Hue, the former capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. Start with a visit to the Imperial City, the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. It consists of three main parts: the Citadel, the Imperial City, and the Forbidden Purple City. Explore various key landmarks, including the Flag Tower, Nine Dynastic Urns, the South Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Thai Dich Lake, the Forbidden Purple City, and the Temple of Worship to the Nguyen Emperors. Continue your tour with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue's iconic landmarks.

Afternoon: Visiting the Tomb of Gia Long (officially Thiên Thọ Mausoleum) and its surroundings, a wonderful choice for those interested in history, architecture, and tranquil natural landscapes

Then, visit the tomb of King Tu Duc, one of Hue's most beautiful sites and a model of traditional Vietnamese art. Learn about the history of the Nguyen Dynasty and French colonial invasion. Take a photo break at the incense and conical hat craft workshop in Thuy Xuan. Return to Hue with a stop at Bellevue Hill for a panoramic view of the Perfume River.

Depart for Hoi An via Lang Co Beach, and through the scenic Hai Van Pass, offering picturesque views. Visit the Cham Museum in Da Nang, which houses the world's largest collection of Cham sculptures.

In the afternoon, explore Hoi An, an ancient port town of Annam from the 15th to the 18th century. Today, it retains its old-world charm and is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a leisurely stroll along narrow streets lined with Chinese, Japanese, and French architectural-style houses. Visit:

  • The Japanese Covered Bridge, built in the 17th century, with its original character carefully preserved.
  • Phuc Kien Temple, constructed in the 17th century, formerly a meeting hall for residents and traders of the Chinese community from Fujian.
  • An ancient wooden house of wealthy merchants: Tan Ky, Phung Hung, or Quan Thang.
  • A museum: either the Museum of Ceramics or the Sa Huynh Cultural Museum.

Participate in a lantern-making workshop using traditional fabric. At the end of the workshop, take home the lantern you've crafted as a beautiful souvenir of Vietnam.

Take a peaceful stroll through the streets of Hoi An, where you can visit art galleries and tailor shops offering custom-made clothing. Visit the "Precious Heritage" gallery-museum by French photographer Réhahn.

Afternoon: Depart for the Sacred Valley of My Son, the most important Cham archaeological site in Vietnam located 40 km from Hoi An. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the My Son sanctuary was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom from the 4th to the 13th century. You'll see a series of impressive tower-sanctuaries comprising 70 preserved red brick and stone architectural works, perfectly illustrating its spiritual roots in Hinduism. Take a walk through these Cham Towers. There's also the possibility to witness the exceptional traditional Cham dance performance before returning to Hoi An.

7:30 AM: Departure for the Mekong Delta to Mo Cay in Ben Tre province.

10:00 AM: Upon arrival in Mo Cay, take a short walk under the shade of coconut trees to reach the pier. Enjoy a rowboat ride along the small canals amidst the palm groves.

Embark on a boat to visit the Thom market, a well-known place for trading coconuts and its craft workshops for coconut fiber and activated charcoal. Discover the enchanting and verdant landscapes of the Mekong Delta.

12:00 PM: The boat sails through the Co Chien River to reach Con Ho Island, an authentic corner covered with coconut gardens and orchards.

1:00 PM: Visit some families engaged in tourism on Con Ho Island. Experience foot soaking in medicinal herbs at Hai Trai. Next, visit Vu Minh's pomelo garden and taste some pomelos if they are in season.

Lunch at Mrs. Ba Phi's.

3:00 PM: Return aboard the boat to the pier. Head to Con Chim Island.

Afternoon: Drive through the beautiful countryside of Tra Vinh before reaching Can Tho.

After breakfast, embark on a boat to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest in the entire Mekong Delta. Take a stroll to visit a rice noodle (Hu Tieu) making facility, a local specialty. Then, explore the famous land market known for its wide variety of fruits, vegetables, fish, turtles, mice, snakes, and more. Compare the floating market with the land market.

Next, visit a cocoa garden and learn about the local cocoa planting process and transformation into chocolate. Enjoy a glass of hot chocolate.

Transfer to the Tra Su melaleuca forest. Upon arrival, board a small boat to explore the Tra Su Nature Reserve with its partially submerged vegetation, a refuge for many bird species. In the evening, return to your hosts for a friendly dinner.

Transfer to a homestay in Chau Doc. Depending on your preference, you can take a walk to explore the Cham village surroundings or participate in preparing dinner with the host family.

Enjoy breakfast with local dishes specially prepared by the residents of the lower Mekong Delta. Take a boat excursion to visit small fishing villages of the Cham ethnic group, who practice Islam.

The next stop is the Cham community mosque to learn about their daily activities and customs. Return to Saigon for the night.

Optional: Instead of returning to Saigon, you can choose a beach stay on Phu Quoc Island or an extension to Cambodia by taking the fast boat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh.
