Day 1Arrival In Hanoi (L)
Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and take you to the city center of Hanoi.
Optional: Participation in a traditional Vietnamese herbal massage session for one hour.
In the afternoon: Stroll along the tree-lined street of Phan Dinh Phung, Visit the Long Bien Bridge with a beautiful view of Banana Island. Transfer to visit the ancient citadel of Co Loa.
The evening is dedicated to a traditional water puppet show, a typical folk art of northern Vietnam combining traditional music and scenes of rural life

Day 2Hanoi - City Tour (B, L)
A day dedicated to exploring the city:
The Temple of Literature, the first national university built in 1070 where royal descendants and sons of mandarins pursued their studies to become scholars and high-ranking officials. This temple is also a site to honor Confucius and the Scholars of the Kingdom. With its original architecture arranged between courtyards, ponds, and gardens, it is a true haven of peace and greenery in the heart of the capital.
Ba Dinh District: Walk through Ba Dinh Square, the botanical garden, the former Governor's Palace of Indochina (now the Presidential Palace), Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, and finally the One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest monuments in the city built in 1049.
The Pagoda of the Nation's Defense (Tran Quoc), built in 1615 on the shore of the large West Lake.
The Old Quarter of Hanoi, known as the commercial center of the Capital bordered by the elegant Hoan Kiem Lake. Despite the passage of time, the Old Quarter is known as an open-air museum of the capital: unique tube houses, narrow alleys, temples, and open-air markets. Lunch: You will taste grilled pork with rice noodle and egg coffee.

Day 3Hanoi - Bac Ha, Land Of The Flower Hmong (B, L, D)
Bac Ha, stroll through the ethnic villages of the Flower Hmong and Tay.
Departure at 8:00 am for Bac Ha, the highland region of Northern Vietnam, using the Hanoi - Pho Lu highway. Lunch at a local restaurant. Bac Ha, located at 1,000 meters above sea level, is populated by several ethnic groups such as the Hmongs, Phu La, and Tays.
A short and easy hike is offered to the villages of Ngai Phong Tro and Din Thang. Discover the agricultural environment, traditional housing, lush terraced rice fields, and valleys dotted with trees. You will visit isolated hamlets and meet the following two ethnic groups: the Flower Hmong and the Phu La...
The Hmongs were part of the San Miao of Southern China. Following the Hmongs' struggles against the feudal Chinese authorities, a portion of the Hmongs immigrated to Vietnam towards the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The Phu La also immigrated to Vietnam around the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Dinner and overnight stay with a local family.
If you stop on a Saturday evening in Bac Ha: Free participation in the public folklore dance and song show organized every Saturday night at the Bac Ha market.
Day 4Bac Ha Market And Exploration Of The Beautiful Valleys Of Ban Phung (B, L, D)
Day 5Ban Phung – Ban Luoc Valley – Nam Hong, Immersion In Red Dzao Culture (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we'll head to Ban Luoc, known as the paradise of terraced rice fields, a remarkable and highly appreciated region by photographers. We'll take a scenic walk through the beautiful Ban Luoc rice valley on a trail winding along the hillside to reach the village of Suoi Thau. Lunch will be with a Black Dzao family, offering you a splendid view of the rice fields. You'll get to discover the customs and traditions of the Black Dzao people.
Continuing our journey, we'll head towards the Red Dzao village of Nam Hong. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy an exceptional moment of relaxation by indulging in a bath with medicinal plants, a practice derived from the long-standing experience of the Red Dzao tribes to relieve fatigue.
Optional: Participate in the fire dance ceremony – a mystical festival of the Red Dzao ethnic group.

Day 6Nam Hong – Lam Binh, Halong Bay In The Mountains (B, L, D)
Take a stroll through the Red Dzao village. Depending on the season, you may participate in tea picking and traditional tea drying with the local residents; then, observe the crafting of handmade paper from straw and resin of a wild plant by the Dzao people. These papers are used for ancestral and deity worship.
Explore the surrounding area of the village on foot.Then, depart for Lam Binh. Dinner and overnight stay with a local family in Lam Binh.
Day 7Lam Binh – Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)
Cruise on the Gam River to the Na Hang reservoir. Marvel at the rare beauty of Lam Binh, sometimes called "the Halong Bay of the mountains," due to the presence of imposing limestone peaks. You will still see the dense forest. Stop to visit the Khuoi Nhi waterfall, where there is the possibility of being massaged by fish living in the stream.
Bike ride on a flat path through villages surrounded by karst rocks with a stop at the village and palm forest. Lunch with a local family.
Afternoon: Head to Ba Be Lake. Overnight in homstay.
Day 8Ba Be Lake – Cao Bang – Quang Uyen, Immersion In A Nung Village (B, L, D)

Day 10Cao Bang's Best Landscapes: Ban Gioc - Ha Lang (B, L, D)
Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao Cave, Water Wheels
Coach trip to Ban Gioc waterfall, located on the Sino-Vietnamese border, you will be captivated by the beauty of its falls, reputed to be the most beautiful in Vietnam and the fourth longest in the world after Iguazu, Victoria, and Niagara. The best time to visit these falls is during the rainy season (from July to October), but they are incredible year-round. Swimming is possible during certain times of the year.Optionally, take a short bamboo raft ride on the Quay Son River to get closer to Ban Gioc Waterfall. Take a walk to visit the Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda, from where you will have a panoramic view of the Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
Then, visit Nguom Ngao Cave with its magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations, considered one of the most beautiful in Vietnam after those in Phong Nha and Ke Bang.
Then head to Co La Waterfall. Upon arrival, you'll start a hike along the Quay Son River, you'll stop to visit villages and discover the terraced fields, and Tay ethnic villages. Afterward, we'll hit the road for Ha Lang. Overnight in Ha Lang.
Day 11Ha Lang – Vinh Quy - RC4 Battle Sites - Lang Son - Hanoi (B, L)
Day 12Hanoi – Halong Bay, Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)
Coach trip to Halong.
Arrive in Halong around noon, then embark and have lunch on board a splendid junk. The cruise navigates through the emerald sea and the karst islets of the magnificent Halong Bay, heading towards the less crowded area of Bai Tu Long Bay. You will explore the caves.
Then, free time to relax while admiring the scenery or to kayak in Halong Bay. Dinner and overnight on the boat.
Day 13 Halong Bay – Hanoi - Train To Quang Tri (B, L)
Day 14 Quang Tri – Vinh Moc Tunnel – Tam Giang Lagoon - Hue (B, L)
You will arrive in Quang Tri at 7:25 am. Our guide will welcome you and transfer you to Vinh Moc with a stop en route to visit the Hien Luong Bridge.
Explore the Vinh Moc Tunnels, initially constructed in the late 1940s to resist the French, and expanded during 1966 and 1967 to resist the Americans. The Vinh Moc Tunnels served as a refuge for the 400 inhabitants of Vinh Linh during intense bombings, particularly during the American "Rolling Thunder" operation.
Stop at Cua Tung for a beautiful view of the beach.
Visit Phuoc Tich Village: Take a walk to explore the village and visit a ceramics workshop before having lunch with a local family.
In the afternoon, discover the well-preserved site of Tam Giang Lagoon, one of the most important brackish water lagoons in Southeast Asia.
Stop at a lakeside village by Dam Chuon – the widest part of Tam Giang Lagoon. Take a short walk to meet the locals before boarding a small motorboat for a tour of part of the lagoon. Observe the aquatic life of local fishermen who often set their nets and traps in the fish-rich waters at this time. Learn local fishing techniques from a fisherman and enjoy the sunset over the lagoon waters.

Day 15Hue, Imperial City, And Royal Tombs (B, L)
8:00 am: Begin your exploration of Hue, the former capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. Start with a visit to the Imperial City, the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. It consists of three main parts: the Citadel, the Imperial City, and the Forbidden Purple City. Explore various key landmarks, including the Flag Tower, Nine Dynastic Urns, the South Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Thai Dich Lake, the Forbidden Purple City, and the Temple of Worship to the Nguyen Emperors. Continue your tour with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue's iconic landmarks.
Afternoon: Visiting the Tomb of Gia Long (officially Thiên Thọ Mausoleum) and its surroundings, a wonderful choice for those interested in history, architecture, and tranquil natural landscapes
Then, visit the tomb of King Tu Duc, one of Hue's most beautiful sites and a model of traditional Vietnamese art. Learn about the history of the Nguyen Dynasty and French colonial invasion. Take a photo break at the incense and conical hat craft workshop in Thuy Xuan. Return to Hue with a stop at Bellevue Hill for a panoramic view of the Perfume River.

Day 16Hue – Hoi An, Ancient Port Town (B, L)
Depart for Hoi An via Lang Co Beach, and through the scenic Hai Van Pass, offering picturesque views. Visit the Cham Museum in Da Nang, which houses the world's largest collection of Cham sculptures.
In the afternoon, explore Hoi An, an ancient port town of Annam from the 15th to the 18th century. Today, it retains its old-world charm and is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a leisurely stroll along narrow streets lined with Chinese, Japanese, and French architectural-style houses. Visit:
- The Japanese Covered Bridge, built in the 17th century, with its original character carefully preserved.
- Phuc Kien Temple, constructed in the 17th century, formerly a meeting hall for residents and traders of the Chinese community from Fujian.
- An ancient wooden house of wealthy merchants: Tan Ky, Phung Hung, or Quan Thang.
- A museum: either the Museum of Ceramics or the Sa Huynh Cultural Museum.
Participate in a lantern-making workshop using traditional fabric. At the end of the workshop, take home the lantern you've crafted as a beautiful souvenir of Vietnam.
Take a peaceful stroll through the streets of Hoi An, where you can visit art galleries and tailor shops offering custom-made clothing. Visit the "Precious Heritage" gallery-museum by French photographer Réhahn.
Day 17Countryside Of Hoi An, Local Life, And My Son Holy Land (B, L)
Day 18Hoian - Flight To Saigon (B)
Morning: Free morning.
Optional: Transfer to the Indochine Distillery at the beach south of Hoi An, where you can discover the rum-making process. Alternatively, you can participate in a cooking class.
Afternoon: Transfer to Danang for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 19City Tour (B, L)
Day 20Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre - Con Chim Island (B, L, D)
7:30 AM: Departure for the Mekong Delta to Mo Cay in Ben Tre province.
10:00 AM: Upon arrival in Mo Cay, take a short walk under the shade of coconut trees to reach the pier. Enjoy a rowboat ride along the small canals amidst the palm groves.
Embark on a boat to visit the Thom market, a well-known place for trading coconuts and its craft workshops for coconut fiber and activated charcoal. Discover the enchanting and verdant landscapes of the Mekong Delta.
12:00 PM: The boat sails through the Co Chien River to reach Con Ho Island, an authentic corner covered with coconut gardens and orchards.
1:00 PM: Visit some families engaged in tourism on Con Ho Island. Experience foot soaking in medicinal herbs at Hai Trai. Next, visit Vu Minh's pomelo garden and taste some pomelos if they are in season.
Lunch at Mrs. Ba Phi's.
3:00 PM: Return aboard the boat to the pier. Head to Con Chim Island.
Overnight stay with a local family.
Day 21Con Chim Island - Tra Vinh - Can Tho (B, L, D)
Morning: Take a bicycle ride to explore eco-tourism on Con Chim Island. Participate in a workshop to make traditional cakes and discover local life. Visit the ancient Khmer pagoda of Hang, which practices Theravada Buddhism. Then, visit the coconut nectar company and learn about the traditional work of local residents who collect honey from coconut flowers.
Lunch at a local home.
Afternoon: Drive through the beautiful countryside of Tra Vinh before reaching Can Tho.
Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 22Cai Rang Floating Market - Tra Su - Chau Doc (B, L, D)
Day 23Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Enjoy breakfast with local dishes specially prepared by the residents of the lower Mekong Delta. Take a boat excursion to visit small fishing villages of the Cham ethnic group, who practice Islam.
The next stop is the Cham community mosque to learn about their daily activities and customs. Return to Saigon for the night.
Optional: Instead of returning to Saigon, you can choose a beach stay on Phu Quoc Island or an extension to Cambodia by taking the fast boat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh.
