Day 1Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Ke Bang (L, D)
Day 2Phong Nha Ke Bang – Vinh Moc – Hue (B, L)
Paradise Cave and Vinh Moc Tunnels
8:00 AM: Departure for the visit to Paradise Cave. Discovered in 2005, it measures 60-80m in height, 30 to 150m in width, and is considered the longest dry cave in Asia, measuring 31 km in length.
After a 2 km walk through the ancient forest, you'll reach the cave entrance. Enter this fabulous cavern, walking along the wooden bridge for about 1 km, surrounded by magnificent stalactites and stalagmites that adorn its ceilings and floors. This adventure will make you feel unique sensations, such as being "lost in an underground paradise," with enormous mineral formations as transparent as quartz. Its natural features make it resemble a landscape painting, highly attractive to visitors.
Lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying a refreshing beer and local specialties (roasted chicken with peanut sauce, cooked pork, etc.).
Afterward, hit the road to Vinh Moc Tunnels, initially built in the late 1940s to resist the French and expanded during 1966 and 1967 to counter the Americans. Vinh Moc Tunnels served as a shelter for the 400 residents of Vinh Linh during intense bombings in the American "Rolling Thunder" operation.
Overnight in Hue.
