Day 2Don To Hieu Waterfalls Trek (B, L, D)
Traverse the peaceful Pu Luong region from Don to Uoi, Lan, Nang, and Doc Hieu.
Start the day with a nourishing breakfast. Embark on a trek through charming Thai villages nestled against the mountains, including Uoi, Lan, Nang Cao, and Doc Hieu. After 2 hours of trekking, marvel at the grandeur of water wheels (noria) perched on the stream banks—a symbolic sight of Pu Luong. These remarkable water wheels ingeniously channel stream water to the rice fields, showcasing the innovative irrigation methods of the Thai people. Approach each wheel to gain insight into the bamboo aqueduct system that guides water from the stream to the fields through ingeniously simple installations.
