Destination: HANOI – LAO CAI – SAPA – LAO CAI – HANOI
Duration: 2 days 3 nights
A 3-night/2-day tour that will bring you to Sapa, a small town perched in marvelous mountains where you will discover various scenic landscapes. You will travel there during an overnight train trip and sleep comfortably in hotels. During the tour, you will trek on short distances to visit minority villages, waterfalls, and rice paddy terraces.

Day 1: Hanoi – Night Train to Lao Cai (-)
You will be picked up at your hotel and transported to Hanoi train station in the evening. You will take the night train for Lao Cai (air-conditioned cabin shared by 4 persons, soft beds).
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat & Sin Chai Villages – Sapa (B, L)
Early morning arrival in Lao Cai. A bus will pick you up for a 38-km drive to Sapa.
Breakfast at your hotel in Sapa before starting a 3-km trek to Cat Cat Village, Cat Cat Waterfall, an old hydroelectric factory, and Sin Chai Village, home of the Black H’Mong ethnic minority.
Then, back to Sapa and lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will be free to discover Sapa by your own.
Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Sapa – Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages – Sapa – Lao Cai – Night Train to Hanoi (B, L, D)
Today, we will take the footpath to trek on the rim of the deep valley of Muong Hoa. During the trek, you will have the opportunity to see the most enchanting rice terraces of the area and meet the H’Mong hill tribes of Lao Chai Village and the Dzay hill tribes of Ta Van Village.
Lunch with a local family in Ta Van Village, before visiting this peaceful hamlet by foot.
Then, walk up onto the main road, where a car is waiting for us. Our driver will bring us back to Sapa. You will then check-in at a small hotel to take a hot shower and rest a bit until before heading to Lao Cai.
Dinner at a local restaurant before going to Lao Cai train station. You will take the night train to Hanoi (air-conditioned cabin shared by 4 persons, soft beds).
You will reach Hanoi the next morning around 5:30am. End of the tour.
