Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau – Xam Khoe (L, D)
Our driver and guide will pick you up before we leave Hanoi and depart in the direction of Mai Chau.
We will drive on Highway 6 until reaching Hoa Binh, where we will visit one of the biggest hydropower plants in Vietnam.
While on our way, we will stop several time in Mai Chau area in order to take photos, before we reach Xam Khoe. We will meet our hosts for the night, a welcoming local family, and enjoy green tea with them.
Dinner and overnight at a family’s house (homestay).
Day 2: Mai Chau – Pu Luong (Sai, Hang & Kho Muong Villages) (B, L, D)
This morning we will drive to Pu Luong and go to Sai Village, a place blessed with many beautiful rice paddies. We will also go to Hang Village, where we will start the real trekking.
Along the way, we will pass through several Thai Villages and hamlets before reaching Kho Muong. As its name suggests, this is a Muong minority village and we will be their guests for the night.

Day 3: Pu Luong (Kho Muong Village to Hin Village) (B, L, D)
This morning, we will leave Kho Muong and trek for roughly three hours through a beautiful forest and charming villages.
We will stop in Nua Village to have lunch, before resuming our trek for three more hours.
Our final destination for today is Hin Village, another Thai community.

Day 4: Pu Luong (Hin Village to Son Village) (B, L, D)
An exhilarating trek up to the top of Pu Luong Mountain awaits us today. This trek is quite demanding and will take at least six hours to complete. However, the panoramic views of Pu Luong from the Son Village are very rewarding.
Dinner and overnight at a homestay in Son Village.
Day 5: Pu Luong – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, we will leave Son Village and walk through several hamlets for approximately three hours.
We will then reach our car to head back to Hanoi.
We will reach the capital in late afternoon. End of tour.
