Day 1: Hanoi – Tam Coc – Thung Nham – Ninh Binh (L, D)
In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel. We will drive to Ninh Binh City and check-in at a hotel upon arrival.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will go to Tam Coc and enjoy cycling on the peaceful countryside roads in the middle of rice fields.
You will then reach Thung Nham around 4:00pm. This bird park is home to thousands of birds belonging to more than 40 different species. Some of them being listed in the Red List of Threatened species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. Board a small boat and cruise along the stream while admiring amazing birds flocking in this area.
After the visit, back to Ninh Binh.
Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Ninh Binh – Bai Dinh Pagoda – Trang An – Hanoi (B, L)
Enjoy your breakfast before we head to Bai Dinh Pagoda, known for being the biggest pagoda in Vietnam.
Next, we will explore Trang An during a wonderful ride on a small bamboo boat. We will cruise along a tiny stream through 9 caverns, including the caves of Ba Giot, Dia Linh, Toi (“Dark Cave”), Sang (“Bright Cave”), Ao Trai, and Seo. We will also see different valleys including those of Tran Temple, May, Khong, and Nau Ruou.
After the visit, we will have lunch and drive back to Hanoi. We will reach the capital at the end of the afternoon.
