Visit two highlights of Central Vietnam during this 2-day tour departing from Hue. Explore Phong Nha Cave, one of the most fabulous cavern in the world, and discover the DMZ to learn more about the paramount historical value of this site.

Day 1: Hue – DMZ – Dong Hoi – Phong Nha – Dong Hoi (L, D)
You will be picked up at your hotel in Hue and head on a 2-and-half-hour drive to Vinh Moc Tunnels, Hien Luong Bridge, and Ben Hai River, which use to be the demarcation line between North and South of Vietnam (from 1945 to 1975). The Demilitarized Zone consisted of a 5-km area on each side of Ben Hai River.
Lunch at a local restaurant at Dong Hoi City.
In the afternoon, we will go to Phong Nha. Upon arrival, we will board a boat and navigate among beautiful romantic sceneries. After about 700 meters, the boat will enter the majestic Phong Nha Cave. We will then walk for about 500 meters amongst huge stalactites and stalagmites. We will also visit the remains of the Cham altars, where inscriptions can still be seen to this day.
Finally, we will return to Dong Hoi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Dong Hoi – DMZ – Quang Tri – Hue (B, L)
After breakfast, we will drive on Ho Chi Minh trail towards Hue. We will make several stops along the way to visit Khe Sanh Combat Base, the Rockpile, and Dakrong Bridge.
Lunch at a restaurant, before our last visit: Quang Tri Citadel.
Later, we will drive back to Hue.
