This week-long package tour will bring you from the Center to the South of Vietnam. Visit Hoi An, a lovely town with a special atmosphere where you will have fun during a bike ride, experience a relaxing foot massage, and participate in a cooking class. During the drive you will have stops at the top of Hai Van Pass and Lang Co beach to enjoy beautiful sceneries. Then, you will arrive in the imperial city of Hue, where you will visit Emperor Tombs and the monumental Citadel amongst other places. Next, travel to the South to land in chaotic Ho Chi Minh City, the heartbeat of modern Vietnam. You will explore the vast complex of tunnels in Cu Chi and end the tour in the Mekong Delta and its lively floating markets.

Day 1: Arrival in Da Nang – Hoi An (-)

On arrival, our driver will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel in Hoi An, a charming ancient town with a unique atmosphere. 

Free time for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Hoi An – Tra Que Vegetable Village – Hoi An (B, L)

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and take you for a short bike ride to visit Tra Que village.

There, you will experience the daily life of the local people and learn more about their work on the vegetable fields. After a relaxing foot massage and a remarkable cooking class, you will have lunch with a local family.

In the afternoon, back to Hoi An for a walking tour to visit the ancient city, including major landmarks like the Japanese Bridge and the Tan Ky House among others.

Dinner on your own and free time in the evening.

Day 3: Hoi An – Hue (B)

Have a good breakfast and enjoy free time in the morning to discover Hoi An on your own.

In the afternoon, we will drive to Hue, the former capital of Vietnam.

On the way, we will stop to visit Marble Mountains, the Cham Museum in Da Nang, and we will also take a break at the top of Hai Van pass to observe the marvelous scene. After taking a few pictures at the beautiful Lang Co beach, we will finally reach Hue.

Check-in at the hotel and free time in the evening.

Day 4: Hue – City Tour – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

The day will be dedicated to an exciting full-day adventure in Hue.

After breakfast, we will hit the road to Perfume River tourist port where we will sail along the peaceful river and its stunning scenery. 

After, visit Thien Mu Pagoda and The Citadel.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit the tombs of Emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh.

After heading back to the city, we will visit Dong Ba market before the transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

At your arrival, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Check-in and free time in the evening.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L, D) 

This morning, we will discover some of the major landscapes of Ho Chi Minh City: the Independence Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Ben Thanh Market.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will drive for 60km until reaching the site of Cu Chi Tunnels. This vast underground system was created in 1948 to assist the Viet Minh in their battle against the French. Afterwards, the tunnel complex kept being built and extended over 25 years. Indeed, it played a big role during Vietnam War and acted like a real underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage units, field hospitals, weapons factories, and command centers. At its peak, it housed around 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years, with some getting married and giving birth to children inside the tunnels.

Later, we will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and have a dinner.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

You will be picked up at your hotel in the early morning. After a 2-hour drive, we will finally reach Cai Be.

Upon arrival at Cai Be, you will embark on a private boat to cruise in the floating market and observe local people selling and buying from their boats. Visit a local garden and a house to see orchards and the rice crisp production process.

After lunch, we will continue to sail on the river to witness the peaceful and tranquil life of villagers and admire the marvelous natural setting of the Mekong Delta region. Around 3:00pm, the boat will arrive at Vinh Long Market. You will explore Vinh Long Market by foot.

After that, we will hop on the bus to go back to Ho Chi Minh City, with a stop scheduled along the way to visit a bonsai garden.

We will drop you off at your hotel in the evening.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City – departure (B)

Free time in Ho Chi Minh City until the bus picks you up and drives you to the airport for your departure flight.
