During this private cruise, you will be amazed by the wild beauty of Lan Ha Bay (located between Cat Ba and Ha Long), home to fabulous karstic peaks, wonderful beaches and interesting fishermen villages.
In comparison with other cruise boats in Ha Long, Cat Ba private junk boats are less luxuous, more simple, but very authentic. Indeed, they are in fact small traditional junk boats housing between 1 to 6 cabins.
In contrast with the classic routes that many companies provide in Ha Long Bay, our itinerary – towards Lan Ha Bay – is more lively and astonishing as you will have the chance to visit floating villages.

Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Cat Ba – Ha Long Bay (L, D)
6:00am: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi. We will drive you directly to Hai Phong.
9:00am: Transfer by hydrofoil from Hai Phong to Cat Ba Island.
10:00am: Arrival at Cat Ba Island. After that, you will visit a local market where fish is sold and you will meet local fishermen who landed on Cat Ba after a night’s work. Then, take a walk to discover the island.
12:15pm: Board our junk boat at Ben Beo Harbor. Welcome drink as the vessel starts its cruise. You will pass by a floating fishing village, before the boat sets on Lan Ha Bay. Savor a delicious lunch onboard (seafood).
Afternoon until Evening: After lunch, the boat will cruise towards Ca Tunnel, where you will hop onto a small boat. You will go through the tunnel and reach a beautiful lake surrounded by marvelous karstic peaks and cliffs.
Later, you will go back on the junk to rest and have some tea or coffee. The boat will pause its cruise and you will have the opportunity to relax. At the end of the day, the boat will set its anchor in an area far from the other cruise boats.
Savor delightful dishes with a dinner onboard, before spending the evening at your own leisure. Overnight on the junk boat.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba – Hai Phong – Hanoi OR Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay – Hon Gai Harbor – Hanoi (B, L)
Option 1: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba – Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, L)
Early morning: If weather permits, you can wake up early to admire the amazing sunrise over the bay.
Enjoy a nice breakfast. The cruise will continue throughout Lan Ha Bay and its incredible karst peaks emerging from emerald waters.
In the middle of the morning, the boat will reach the dreamy beaches of Ba Trai Dao, where you will be able to relax and swim.
10:00am: Back to the junk boat. Check-out of your cabins.
Enjoy a nice lunch as the boat cruises towards the harbor.
12:00pm (noon): Leave the boat at Cat Ba Island. You will have free time to walk around the island until taking the hydrofoil to go to Hai Phong.
2:05pm: Transfer from Cat Ba Island to Hai Phong by hydrofoil. Then, you will be driven from Hai Phong to Hanoi.
6:00pm: You will reach Hanoi.

Option 2: Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay – Hon Gai Harbor – Hanoi (B, L)
Early morning: If weather permits, you can wake up early to admire the amazing sunrise over the bay.
Enjoy a nice breakfast. The boat will sail towards the North-East and Ha Long Bay, where it will cruise throughout a fabulous landscape made of incredible karst peaks emerging from emerald waters.
You will see all the splendor of Ha Long Bay during this portion of the cruise. Later, prepare your bags and check out of your cabins.
Enjoy a nice lunch as the boat cruises towards the harbor.
12:00pm (noon): Leave the boat at Hon Gai Harbor. Then, you will be driven to Hanoi.
4:30pm-5:00pm: You will reach Hanoi.
