The dress of the H’Mong’s girls is very vary and impressing. They are made by themselves and converge the typical feature and characteristic of H’Mong community. The H’Mong clothes are mainly made of self-woven linen and are decoreated with variety of technique.

The H’mong’s costume bring its own charactor in colours and patterns. H’mong clothes are often decorated with many colours, which expresses the viality of mountainous area. H’mong people also combine many others kind of accessory such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings.
The traditional costume of H’mong women includes of chest torn dress, skirt, cloth in front of skirt, belt and legging. Besides, H’mong women also wear artificial hair to be more charming. The women usually gather their hair and wrap it on the top of head.
The woman’s shirt has a V-shaped fron collar which is trimmed with additional fabric.. The back is a rectangular embroidery decorated very harmoniously and is attached silver coins, which makes funny sound for the costume. The sleeves are usually embroidered colourful horizontal stripes from the armpits to the arms.
The skirts of white H’mong is the opened skirt and have the wide creases, which makes them a truncated cone shape. They are almost made of linen. In some others H’mong group, the women wear cajuput coloured skirts with an embroidered fringe which is made in the bottom half of the skirt.

The patterns on the Mong women’s clothes are mainly geometries such as rectangles, squares, diamonds, spiral motifs. Pattern motifs are formed on the basis of the weaving technique and are later applied in embroidery techniques. Main colors embroidered on the skirt are blue, red, black, yellow.
The costume of Mong people is also missed the belt. Moreover, leggings and a cloth in front of the skirt (called “xe”) are also important because according to Mong people’s conception, wearing “xe” and leggings expresses the condential talk and privacy of the Mong women.
Their clothes are very colorful, diverse and they full of typical features of H’Mong people.
