All visitors to Cambodia must hold a passport valid for six months and one empty page.


Visa exemption
Ordinary passport
Up to 30 days: Indonesia, Lao People's Dem. Rep., Malaysia, Singapore and Viet Nam
Up to 21 days: Philippines
Up to 14 days: Brunei Darussalam, Thailand

Diplomatic and official/service passports:
- Cuba, Russian Fed. and Slovakia
- Up to 90 days: Bulgaria, Colombia, Hungary, Japan and Viet Nam
- Up to 60 days: India and Korea (Rep.)
- Up to 30 days: Brazil, China (People's Rep.), Ecuador, Iran, Lao People's Dem. Rep., Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Peru, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand
- Up to 15 days: Seychelles
- Up to 14 days: Indonesia

Special passports:
- Up to 30 days: Passengers with an Interpol passport or an Interpol ID card traveling on duty
In any other case, a paying tourist visa is compulsory to visit Cambodia. 
The application can be made upon arrival at any border checkpoint, air, land or sea, online as an e-visa, but only allowed at specific air and land access points or directly at the Embassy or Consular Services of your country of residence. 
We recommend a prior online application for an e-visa that will allow you to escape long lining-ups at the airport. 
Important remark:
- Visa can only be applied at the Cambodian consular services, prior departure, for nationals of the following countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Syria.


Visa on arrival
Single-entry only, valid up to 30 days, whether for tourism or business purpose, extendable on site for another 30 days, one time only. Extensions should be applied at the Department for Foreigners of the Ministry of the Interior, in front of Phnom Penh International Airport.
Allowed without restriction at any border crossing point. 
All individual travelers should present a return air ticket or a "proof" of intended departure from the territory. In practice, flexibility prevails, but be careful, you could be denied boarding at the airport of your country or refused on arrival. 
Formalities and required documents:
- A dully fulfilled application form baring a (one copy per person, including minor children
- One ID picture (Compulsory, except at the international airports)
- Cash in US Dollars (Euros might be refused). USD 30 for tourism visa, USD 35 for business purpose.


E-Visa
Single-entry only, valid up to 30 days, whether for tourism or business purpose. 
As of January 1st, 2020, holders of e-Visas may enter via the three international airports of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville, or at the following land-border checkpoints: 
- Bavet (Svay Rieng Province- from Vietnam), 
- Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey Province- from Thailand), 
- Tropaeng Kreal (Stung Treang Province- from Laos)
- Cham Yeam (Koh Kong Province - from Thailand).

As mentioned above, Nationals of following countries are ineligible to e- Visa: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Syria.

Delivery time usually takes 48 working hours. Applications by correspondence are subject to different processing times, depending on the consular service of each country.
Formalities and required documents:
- A dully fulfilled application form baring a (one copy per person, including minor children),
- One recent ID picture
- An A4 copy of the personal records page
- Payment in cash, usually, which amount may vary according to your country of residence.
 
Important
- The tourist visa cannot be changed against business or other purpose kind of visa and does not allow for employment in Cambodia. 
- Any overstay may result in the payment of a fine of US$ 10 per day.
- The visa fee paid cannot be refunded. An unused and/or expired visa, for any reason whatsoever, cannot be refunded, nor can it be renewed free of charge or automatically.
- An issued visa cannot be modified or refunded.
- The Embassy or consular services of Cambodia latter reserves the right not to issue a visa.
