Bac Ha is located 80km from Lao Cai train station, 120km from Sapa and 360km from Hanoi. This region is still widely intact and has kept its wilderness. The town of Bac Ha is not very big.

The area is interesting due to the fact that a lot of ethnic minorities live there together, most notably the Flower H’Mong, Dzao, Tay and Phu La groups. Aside from the famous weekly markets and the ethnic diversity of Bac Ha, you can find nice rice terraces and spectacular scenery. Guests can enjoy classic tours, but also trekking trips to remote villages. Every Saturday night, Bac Ha market becomes the theatre of songs and dances performances.
