The Lai Chau province is located in the Northwestern part of Vietnam and shares borders with China, Laos and the provinces of Lao Cai, Son La and Dien Bien. Lai Chau is at around 210km of Dien Bien Phu, 200km of Sapa and 400km of Hanoi by way of the famous road N°32.

Lai Chau is famous for being a region home to many different ethnic groups, most notably the Thai, H’Mong, Viet, Dzay, Dzao and Lu. In Lai Chau, you can find many historical remains, wild sceneries comprising bamboo and wood forests and places where yam and cardamom are cultivated. The Sin Ho area is very authentic and blessed with rich landscapes.

O Quy Ho Pass
According to a legend, the name “O Quy Ho” stems from the cry of a fairy that would transform into a bird after a failed love story with a man. The pass is between Lai Chau and Sapa, and with a length of 50km, is the longest in Northern Vietnam. The view from the O Quy Ho pass is overlooking on the valley below and is purely astonishing.
