Quy Nhon is a lively and pleasant coastal city located halfway between Nha Trang and Hoi An. The city is known for its beautiful surroundings, its Cham temples and its incredible beaches. It remains an off-the-beaten-tracks beach destination but with great potential for tourism. Quy Nhon is surrounded by green mountains on three sides and faces the ocean on the fourth.

Cham Towers
The Thap Doi Towers are good representations of the Cham architecture. This pair of towers is in very good condition and situated in the city inside a small park.

Thap Banh is a larger site located 25km away and comprising 4 temples sitting at the top of a hill. The 4 towers are the only remains of a larger group of towers.

Beaches
The long seafront extends from the fishing port in the northeast to the hills in the south and offer beautiful beaches. At the port, you can observe the fishing boats returning from the sea and unloading their catch, which is then put into ice. Nearby is a shipyard where large fishing boats are built.

Bai Xep Village
Bai Xep Village, 10km south of Quy Nhon, is a traditional fishing village. It is an ideal place to observe the daily life of the villagers, haggling at the market, mending their nets or repairing their boats on the beach. The right side of the beach is the prettiest and a perfect place to sunbath.
